Grease - A bilingual show

Grease turns 40 on Saturday! What a huge success for this movie that came out in June 1978!!!

An 8-year run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals along with innumerable school and community productions place Grease among the world's most popular musicals.

The story: Good girl Sandy Olsson and greaser Danny Zuko fell in love over the summer. When they unexpectedly discover they're now in the same high school, will they be able to rekindle their romance?
This movie was written and performed as a musical comedy several times and was produced in Montreal in April 2016.

Annie Villeneuve and Jason Roy Léveillée were hired to interpret the legendary characters of Sandy and Danny. And Global NTT made this show bilingual!

«Les comédiens avaient envie de chanter certaines pièces en anglais, mais on voulait aussi conserver certaines versions traduites en français par Yves Morin», a confié Andrew Shaver, contacté par le producteur Mike Mendell après le retrait de Denise Filiatrault, qui agira tout de même à titre de conseillère artistique.
